Skills Competition Night
February 14th, 2011 (Girls) and February 16th, 2011 (Boys)
- 1. Foul Shooting (Teams)
- 2. Hot Shots
- 3. Teams
- There will be 7 teams of 5 players picked by the convenors and coaches
- It will be total points from both events
- Prizes awarded to the top overall score
- Points awarded as follows:
- Foul shots, from the foul line
- 10 shots per team
- 1 point per basket made
- If player steps over line, the shot will not be counted if it goes in
- Hot Shots
- Team member must attempt to score at least one shot from each mark (3 marks)
- Once they have tried froom each spot, they may pick their best spot and shoot from there
- As one team member shoots, another will rebound for him or her
- The will be done on a rotating basis until all team members have completed their turn
- A turn will consist of a 3 minute period
- Each basket is worth 1 point towards the team total
